Used to display video and pass audio on 2010 Macbook Pro perfectly...
After a little over a month of normal daily use, this product has stopped working. Sure enough, this is after the review window has closed. To anyone looking to buy this adapter, beware!

I was very happy with this adapter when i received it, however after the 30 day return policy it suddenly stopped working. It did transfer audio and great image... but is now defective.. how sad

i purchased my macbook pro on 7/2010.
obviously, i wanted to connect HDMI to my computer but i also wanted audio to transfer. when i ordered this, i was concerned that audio wouldnt transfer due to mixed reviews, but luckily, it works for me.
i was worried at first because audio doesnt automatically transfer. i had to go to system preferences> sound> outputs and select the mini displayport output and then it worked wonderfully.
the adapter is a bit bulky and ugly so i dont think i will ever be carrying it around with me, but for home use, i have no complaints. 5 stars.
